History

Sagada Guest House started only as a simple 3-room homestay that accepted mostly Europeans, Germans and Swiss tourists back in the 1950's. In 1981, the owners namely Mr. and Mrs. Veronica and Ignacio Daoas built another building which became their main building that could accept at least 19 guests for only Php 2.50 per head a night at that time. In 1999, they've added an extension to their main building and started running a restaurant. They were cooking only European food since most of their guests then were from Europe. Now, on their 80's, Mr. and Mrs. Daoas kept the same spirit and friendly atmosphere in their humble guest house. It has also become a landmark to guests that were visiting the mystical mountains of Sagada. Thirty years later since they've built their main building, the Sagada Guest House is still opening their doors and welcoming curious visitors to their place. They've recently renovated their entire guest house in 2010 to better their service. They now also cook food to different kind of people. And because of that, they are also serving Filipino, Chinese, Italian, and American food to our guests.
